21 WEEKS!!

So I was pretty busy last week so I wasnt able to make it back here to update the site (actually i was just pretty lazy -__-) But now we finally reached 21 weeks! Last week something memorable happened. For the first time in this pregnancy, I finally felt my kids MOVE! well, more like kick the crap out of each other in there.

The feeling I got is inexplicable. I realize she's been pregnant for over five months now, but I finally got to actually FEEL them. Little wild animals in there, playing with each other, kicking their mother, reacting to her movements and sounds. Michelle says whenever I come around they start moving around a lot. Nice to know that my presence affects the boys.

So we are halfway to term and we could not be more excited. It feels like forever to get to this point. Now that we are here, time seems to be on fast forward. Pretty soon the babies will be here before we all realize it. I've seen some videos of baby development and even some of actual births and C-SECTIONS. It worries me a little watching those videos, because I just don't want anything to go wrong.

quick update: planning the baby shower, getting some gifts from people already, and buying my own things for the boys little by little.

Reminder

It seems as if I'm telling everyone, every second of the day, how I really cannot wait for my boys to arrive. I want to show them the love I was not shown, the feeling of being wanted, the motivational talks that will drive them to be anything they want to be. I know that sounds pretty cliche, but i just want to be around them as much as I can and talk with them as much as possible. To help them grow into successful men that we will be proud of.

I want to remind them every day that I love them. I want them to actually hear the words from me, not to just know that I do. I want to remind them every day how important they are to me. I want to remind them every day how much I want them around, and how I want their wellbeing. Im curious to see how a family with open communication will develop under these circumstances, as I did not grow up in one.

Lots of fears in my mind, but I'll try my best with my little boys. I just hope they'll realize how much they really mean to me.

19 WEEKS

Nothing new to report this week. nothing major anyway. She's feeling the same usual movements inside, the shifting of positions, and the occasional thump to let mommy know they dont like the position theyre in. mommy tells me the baby's only go wild when im around and when i speak to them. i wonder if they can realize who daddy is from just hearing me speak. Its nice to consider it a possibility. Currently at home, waiting to head on to work tonight. supposedly a blizzard is going to come down tonight, but i still havnt seen any snow. i hope its not so bad, because if it is i will end up taking the lightrail to work instead of driving.

School's starting again next tuesday, Im kind of excited about that. Have been thinking of becoming a spanish teacher lately. This is the semester i have to decide which route to take since i finished all my college requirements. I have faith i will pull through though. i have to. Thats about it for this week though. I'll be back on this later.

(I haven't drawn or written in a long time, maybe soon I'll post some work up.)

ZZZ?

My sleep schedule's been pretty all over the place lately. Im awake now on a monday at 7am and i dont have to work until midnight tonight. Oh well, I guess im getting used to the sleepless nights/days i shall have to face when my twins arrive. I feel like its right around the corner.

There is no way to get them out of my mind lately, I cant wait to meet them.

Today, going to try to clean the house, run some errands, then be back on this later today to write the weekly update on my GF's pregnancy. We made 19 weeks today. =)

WEEK 18

WE'RE HAVING TWINS! obviously.

Soooo, I havnt really kept my word about keeping up with this blog every week for this pregnancy. This just proves how busy this time is for us...no not really..ive just been lazy -__-

Of course realizing that my kids will one day be able to read this motivates me to keep it up.

so, we are 18 weeks, this picture is from 20 weeks, couldn't find a 18 week one. Mommy's belly is starting to shape up nicely, kinda like a lil gift ball. oooooh i wonder wonder wonder wonder whats in a wonder baaaaaaaaaaaaalllll. (she just said "i like those" -___-)

Currently: im sitting here in my bed, with mommy lying next to me. I tried putting my hands on her belly to see if i can feel the babies, nothing yet. but soon! i have faith. after all, they will be strong like daddy =).

SHE WONT STOP SHAKING!!!!! omg. so relationship wise things are awesome, little problems have been fixed, even though that damn shaking is still present lol. everything else is good. ("you hungry?" she asks -______-)

Finally we went shopping for this pair. feels good to have things ready for them, even if they grow out of them pretty fast. we have Alexander and Gabriel picked out as names so far. But you never know, things could change.

I will have to cut this short as mommy keeps bugging me about food.
